The reason was a stub for backlight. Missing keystrokes and a very erratic touchpad.
I was at my last resort, which was to do what others have done and remove the sticky tape from the asus g73sw keyboard light of the touchpad. If your motherboard was replaced in an earlier RMA, it's possible the keyboard light was not enabled in the replacement motherboard.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing ATKPackage, but it doesn't work. I would greatly appreciate the advice and help. If asus g73sw keyboard light don't see the keyboard lights flash at power-up, it indicates some kind of hardware or firmware issue which might be fixed by the fixmykb.
